a hilary swank lookalike guitar virtuoso solo on stage today, but leaving the impression of a full band by either using the guitar as a drumkit and hitting the base snares on top of the melody, or either and sometimes together by sampling guitar lines and playing over these loops, and as such creating well sounding soundscapes ... watching and hearing her play makes you think that some people can play the guitar, others are guitar heroes, and others just have the talent, making it all looking easy and sounding greasy ... and sometimes in her case even as a piano or violin quartet, and didn't know you played the violin ... sometimes she also sings, making the soundscape more a song, which isn't bad or better, but just a next step ... and an entertaining person as well, letting us know that we don't have to be that silent (after her introduction), commenting on one of her cheap guitars (after that one fell down), hitting herself on the chest and speaking up (after her mike for the fifth time was not on) and pointing at her starting musician status (after repeatedly changing here only guitar belt) ... a nice discovery ...
