arduino webcam - 271114

started having fun with arduino & the IoT .. triggered after reading an article in the weekend newspaper referring to the http://www.smartliving.io/ products being released soon .. funny that this article is nowhere on the www, or well hidden

the result for now is a servo controlled webcam, see pic below .. with an app I can watch the webcam feed and control its position .. with this, our cat has no more privacy .. a better mount is still todo, for now an ikea jar does the trick

some details:

• arduino yun (microcontroller + linux + wifi), logitech cam, mjpeg streamer and API via yun's bridge
• yun is often not discovered by the IDE when xcode is also open
• servo is not to be powered by an 9V battery, see this post .. using 4 AA batteries instead now
